The award was given on special ceremony, organised in the regional representation of Bulgarian Construction Chamber and the co-operation of “Stroitelstvo Gradat” newspaper regarding the professional holiday of the builder, 26 October – Dimitrovden.
The competition “Zlaten oves” is held for seventh year in succession within the framework of Varna Building Week. The candidates were valued by five-membered jury with chairman architect Dimitar Stefanov. In the jury take part representatives of Varna Municipality and professional organizations. In the competition took part 20 companies competing in 7 categories. Among the criteria for evaluation were quality of construction works, precision of the observance of the technologies and the parts of the building, accordance with the project and adequacy to the environment, functional fitness, individuality of the architectural plan, recovery and improvement of the urban environment.
