Shore strengthening and reinforcement of landslide – north shore – town of Nesebar – new town

The site is included in the Priority sites of National Programme for strengthening the landslides along the Black Sea coast 1999 – 2000, approved by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.
Site involved the following shore strengthening activities:
- Shore strengthening stone-filling dike with length L = 1 208 м, made of rock blocks with total volume - 47 132 m3;
- Coastal alley with length L = 1215 m, made of rock blocks with total volume - 1 120 361 m3, and concrete – 7 326 m3;
- Filling levels with area F = 13 168 м2, made of rock blocks with volume - 35 014 m3;
- Supporting walls of reinforced concrete with height H = 3 m – 6 m and length L = 310 m, made of concrete with total volume - 680 m3;
- Anchoring walls with height H = 2 m -3 m and length L = 240 m, made of concrete with total volume - 617 m3;
- Pre-stressed 30 t injection anchors – 90 pcs and total length of 955 m;
- Landslide vertical planning – 150 000 m3;
- Horizontal probing drainage - 540 m;
- Grassing and forestation – 8 300 m2
